First Chicken Coop coming Thursday!!

That coop is quite tiny ... are your other 11 chicks banties?

The Cornish Cross meat bird should put out plenty of heat in that tiny coop to keep all the rest hot!

Drill a few holes up near the peak for vents ...

Im not sure if any of these are considered bantams. I purchased from a local poultry store and have had a few surprises along the way, I’ve been trying to identify there breeds since I found out 2 of the 3 white leghorns he sold me were meat birds (Cornish X) — one I needed up losing 2 weeks ago)

I have 2 silkies,
2 Isa Browns
2 sapphire gems
1 golden laced Wyandotte
1 black chick (I haven’t been able to identify his breed supposed to be the same breed as the GLW but he has black legs and looks like a completely different breed)
1 white leghorn
1 Cornish x

When buying wire ... it's thickness is measured in "gauge" ... the smaller the number, the bigger the wire ... 19ga, is bigger/thicker/stronger than 23ga

Okay , So hardware cloth for the windows? Thank you for the explanation I never heard that term before but now I see what your talking about it’s like chicken wire basically right?

No, it's much better than chicken wire.
Chicken wire will keep chickens in but not keep predators out.
Hardware cloth will keep most predators out if it's installed correctly.
Use it on all window and vent openings in coop and as an anti-dig apron:
Good examples of anti-dig apron installation.

The hardware cloth has smaller openings, thicker wire, and is welded together, as opposed to the twisted style of chicken wire.

While some of your breeds are available as either bantams, the Isa Browns and Leghorn are Large Fowl (LF) and is about all the coop really can handle ... they are not huge compared to the Cornish Cross (CX)

Does the black Chick got a black skinned face too?

Seems like a good idea to plan on using this new coop for the silkies, and maybe the black one too ...

Depending on coop setup, and not only chicken size but temperment too ... 4-6 square feet (sq ft) per chicken is needed for each chicken in the actual coop, 2-3 Times that in their run.

While the black one has black around its face and eyes, it does appear to have a little yellow comb ...

Is it the same size as
2 Americanas

That would be my guess at this time ... you should have a better idea in another 4-6 weeks.

How big is your dog crate? You may end up needing to split up your flock in the new coop and the dog crate, once they out grow of the new coop ...
