Very interesting, the majority of the eggs are double yoke. Just one per day so far total.

These are a very faint grey kind of color. I don’t yet know which one is laying. If I get one that is darker I’ll snap a shot.

The one on the left I’m pointing to is the newest one next to a chicken egg on the right. This is a singe yoke egg I’m pretty sure. The double yokes are much larger.

So, this has just been more and more fun. We have been regularly getting TWO a day in the hutch when we let them out in the morning. Then, the other day I found a third next to one of their pools. Then yesterday, I let them out in the morning. There was one in the hutch. I snatched it up and went in the house. They all ran out when the hutch opened to do their duck thing. I went out about an hour later...and there were TWO more in the hutch side by side! That means they deliberately went back in to lay. Hoping to see all four dropping them in obvious spots soon - between that and the two chickens we have left...we are flush with eggs right now. Was a FIVE egger yesterday between the hens and ducks!!!!!!!!

Mine will do the same come running out ready to start their day. Then go back inside to lay or just plop it out on the ground if the notion strikes them. Only My Muscovy lay consistently inside. lol Congrats on the eggs. If you bake you'll love them for baking.

That is very exciting! My ladies usually lay in their house or will go back in to lay as well EXCEPT for the random one dropped in the pool or in the middle of the run. Silly duckies!
