I only have the one as well and had fingers and toes crossed for blue (or blue-green/mint/etc.)...I got my wish and hope you do too!

Thanks! at least you have OE's... any color but light brown & white is fun! I was only sad, because early on (I got the only 2 EE chicks we could find at 4 different feed stores) the other died.... I was really sad., she was such a sweet chick... me too! I only have light brown layers (they haven't started laying yet..slackers) besides my 5 year old polish hen who will lay a couple tiny white eggs in the spring, and a silkie who is yet to lay.That’s awful! I can’t imagine seeing that.
It’s funny you say that about white layers because a dark brown and a white egg layer are next on my wish list!![]()
