First Easter Egger Egg!

My 23-week old Easter Egger laid her first adorable little blueish-green egg today! Included in the picture are eggs from my buff orpington hen and olive egger pullet...it has been fun waiting to find out what color she would lay and I’m so excited that it is a blueish shade!

Blue is the one color my hens don't lay!
Sometimes just a gray blue.

Lovely egg! It is so exciting when EE first start laying because you never know what you are going to get!

I love ours One of ours lays a pale blue, one a pretty blue-green with white specks and the others are a pretty blue-green.

Congrats! What a nice color palette. My EEs' eggs were very pale colors to start, and have gotten paler this year. I'd like to get an Olive egger next. Among others, many others, I want more! Good thing I have a limit where I live.

Thank you, everyone! After years of having only brown egg layers (which I have thoroughly enjoyed, don't get me wrong), I am excited to have some variation in my egg basket!
