I am probably more excited than I should be but I just noticed my 5.5 month old Easter Egger, Wrennie, has just assumed the Sumo Squat when I moved my arm over her to pet her. She is the sweetest chicken who just loves to be close to me and will often be happy just hanging out in my lap. So needless to say, I am so excited to see my girl's first egg! I suppose it could be any one of my 6 girls, but Wren is showing the most signs. Her Easter Egger sister has taken to checking out the nesting boxes first though so who knows! My 2 Buff Orpingtons and my 2 Silkies are just happy chilling as normal.
So, Im so excited, I dont even know what I should do with my first ever precious egg. What have you all done with your first eggs?
