Finaly our camper layed us an egg. It only took her 45 min. so we are up to 6 eggs today with 7 hens that are of laying age.One of the EE camping in the nest box. The SF was really upset again today and I tryed to put her in time out again but she didn't seem to calm down like she did last time. I was watching her after her time out and I think she wanted the box that the EE was in. she ended up laying her egg on the ground in the coop, but that's closer than last time. So far 5 eggs today! I am waiting to see if the EE that is camping is going to lay an egg.
I had one of those a couple of weeks ago. 94 grams. It was a double yolker. Huge in comparison to the rest. Congrats.
did you get your preasent?? Happy mothers day anywayStarting to get eggcited!
The girls are 18 weeks old and starting to get very friendly.
They free range during the day and I have just switched them to layer food too.
Maybe I can get an egg as an awesome mothers day present.
