First Egg Countdown

So I talked to the home some of my chicks had gone to and they have been laying for more than a week!

Me I have nothing!

If I wasn't already impatient this has made me more so.

Hang in there! It'll be the best surprise when you do find that first egg.

Today was the first time I got 7 eggs from 7 hens. It did happen once but I couldn't put all of them into the egg carton because one was shell less.

Now the waiting game is back on. My buffs are 13 weeks!

Yay!!!! Ive been getting 9 eggs a day for almost 3 weeks, non of them have skipped day in 17 days lol, ive made everything egg!! and given some away, I need recipes lol....it was so hot today in connecticut,I made em my layers mash with crushed ice and water, and put ice cubes in their waterer They were panting!!! We gotta plahy the guessing game with the buffs when its closer to the time!! Im tryin so hard not to buy more pullets!@!!!! AHH

She's probably at least a month away from laying. I'm also starting to suspect she's not a blue, but rather a lavender.

My streak has been broken

yesterday and todayi got eight lol , I think they all should take a day or two off they went 24 days straight , some are still goin

Nope not yet! I built them a nice new home which they moved into last night. Maybe the new pad will help with production.
