First Egg Countdown

My girls are 14 and 15 weeks. I am hoping they give me a Birthday present. I was born on September 15th lets see if they do it!

So here is the first egg. SLW at 21wks 4 days. I posted the wrong age earlier. VACATION screwed me up.

Going on 26 weeks on my pullet and still no first egg... Ugh.... She is with a roo and hens that are laying, she eats the same as them, watches them lay their eggs... I am beginning to think I should just give up... Lol

I'll bet you ARE anxious to see what your Olive Egger will lay! I hope to get an Olive Egger pullet soon. Be sure to post a photo of the egg when it arrives.

I have wanted OEs for sooooo long now!! I actually got a Marans roo of my own and put him with my EE hens to hatch my own OEs! Lol! I have hatched 6 a couple months ago (all cuckoos), and now I have 4 chicks (all cuckoos again) that hatched today with more pips! I bought this hen when she was 9 weeks old and I have been waiting and waiting and still nothing! Ugh! I have a feeling my chicks from my own stock will be laying eggs before this crazy hen!! Lol!
