Joining this waiting game. We have 4 girls at 16 weeks (BR,BO, EE & bantam polish) & 2 more at 14 weeks (EEs).

Polish girl is squatting & hanging about the coop a lot.

our first ever egg we got this morning. We are pretty certain our Australorp Penguin laid it. Can't wait until our other 4 start laying.

My girls are laying queens. Three of my RSL's were in the nest boxes today. I think by next week all my girls will be laying. Flash continues to lay speckled eggs and numerous double yolkers. I love all these eggs I am getting. I will get a pic of today's eggs in a bit.

Today's eggs. Two RSL's laid. Their eggs are the medium tan color.









Not sure which ones are the layers so I posted a group pic. They are 19 weeks old.

The waiting is killing me, I have 2 PR's, 2NHR's, and 2 White Chickens? they were supposed to be White rocks but they are not! I think they
are leghorn?? I know they are almost ready, they are squatting, hanging in the nest boxes, they are well fed and spoiled
rotten!!!! Every day they do something new, they are so much fun and my 4 yr. old Shih tzu free ranges with them nicely now!
Only thing is when they squat or sunbathe he cries and cries and cries, lol. He thinks something is wrong with them it is so cute.
Mother hen gives him a peck once in a while to keep him in line, he comes to me looking sad, its so funny to watch. But
waiting for the eggs is just killing me, how much longer must i wait?? So happy to see everyone elses though, congrats for all of you!
