Chicken friends!!! I’m so EGGSTATIC! My blue girl laid her first egg for us today!!! It’s so tiny! Will they get bigger as she continues to lay? Pictures attached!

My first one was small but it seems they may be getting bigger after a couple were laid

We have gotten many eggs as well and they keep increasing in size. We have gotten an egg that is huge because it was a double yolk.

I haven’t changed to layer feed yet since only two out of my 6 hens are laying so I put free choice oyster shell out and the two eggs after that were covered in extra calcium deposits but now they’re back to normal. LoL they must have thought it was a treat and ate too much? Lol
