First Egg & Identifying who laid it!

I’m a newer chicken mama & this is my first ever flock. Today one of my chickens had their very first egg & I’m obsessed! I have all Easter Eggers & they are 23 weeks old! It’s a beautiful little blue egg! I’m so proud!

I was able to figure out who laid it by checking their pelvic bone located on their back end above their vent. You feel the distance between the two upper points. All of my girls could fit or barely fit 2 fingers width except for one (my white/lavender splash EE) that could fit over three fingers width & I could feel her pelvic bone had dropped lower.

That is a BEAUTIFUL egg! My two Eggers are the babies of the flock by seven weeks; can't wait to see what color their eggs will be. All the others lay/will lay shades of brown except for the Whiting's True Blue (not laying yet). Congratulations!
