First Egg!

Thanks, it's been a long 37 week wait for the very first egg.
First one weighs in at 37.2 grams and the second one weighs in at 30.5 grams. Gonna take a lot of eggs at that size for an omelet lol. I hope some other girls join in with her.

They will, but only when they're darned good and ready, lol.

My first egg will be a grand or so, as well. I understand your pain! I didn't do any math, but if I did I probably would stroke out.. so I shouldn't do that. lol Congratulations on your egg! And I love the curtains! I'm sure your girls do, too! I need to see if I can add some to my nesting area entrance.

JT that surprised me, as some others have said you sure put a lot of work into that egg. I assumed you were an egg wrangler with a couple hundred birds. You have sure done your research. Congratulations. I hope you get the 2nd one real soon so you can have a nice sammich.

I just stapled the curtains on... I did find some material at Hobby Lobby that looks like cloth but won't unravel at all.

I have 4 so far 36g, 30g, 36g, and 36g... I think I need a dozen for a sammich lol. So now they only cost $250 an egg.
