First egg!

We woke up as soon as the girls went into their runner to put one of the girls in jail (being a bully) and found an egg in the henhouse! So exciting!!

The egg also appears to have the letter "A" scratched on it, which my niece pointed out to me, and funny enough, my name starts with the letter "A", almost like the egg was just for me. We suspect it was our Sapphire gem that laid the egg, as she's been showing signs for 2 weeks. We are so eggcited to see all the other girls' eggs!

Right!! I had no idea what color she'd lay.. she isn't so sweet herself.. she lets us hear it and let's the other girls have it. But here she is, Ms. Violet.

Ignore the cage, it's for bully jail. Seems our other golden lace wyandotte decided to be a bully, too.
