First egg

Found my first egg this morning.
Surprised me. Thought the days were too short now.
The girls are 26 weeks, 6 months this week.
Judging by the small size I would guess one of the Hamburgs is responsible.
BTW it appears to be perfect in shape and shell.
The bugs and weeds must be good for the girls.

Days are under 12 hours now. Think I'll find more in the coming days or weeks?

Yes, they can lay this time of year, just not as often as in the summer.
