Just got home from camping overnight and found my first two eggs from my sex linksthey had softballs and on the coop floor and one on the poop board but hope to use the nest boxes in due time I hope.was so excited to finally have eggs

It always is exciting!!! My chickens always laid their first couple eggs on the floor but now they are good girls and lay in the nesting boxes.

Yay! you can always try putting a fake egg type thing in there to help then know were to lay. It is fairly normal for the first few eggs to be a little weird. Congratulations!

Yep I have a few golf balls in nest boxes and seen the girls in there so I hopE in time they will learn to lay there.

Got home today and found a nice brown egg in the nest box. The girls are finally laying were they should what a long wait but sure is worth it
