First hatch of Bob white quail.

I was given 17 Bob white eggs so I threw them in my DIY incubator and when they hatched I was surprised how fast they went from pip to out in the wire they are amazing for their size.

Idk about everyone else but I have hatched three batching in a row now and the first almost all died. Literally about 30. Then the next bactch about 20 died so I started reading and found out they need to be taught to drink so I tried it and this last batch I didn't loose any other than the few that was born with bad feet. I just Dio there beak in the water and they figure it out after that. So if you see then start to get weak and can't walk that is prolly why.
