You know that song brings out the emotion in all of us. It comes on and I find myself wanting to start a donation, adopt something, or join a prayer circle!
Those commercials just make me mad honestly. They collect over a million each year and only give back a small portion to actually help any animals. Most goes to the executives, and advertisement.

That's true for most of them. It's one of the reasons I support smaller foundations, where I can see were the money is going to. What song would make you emotional, you know, for scientific reasons?;)

I'm not an emotional person, the only thing that gets me teary is when family pets die. No movies or songs get me sad. :gig

I'm the total opposite! Lots of things make me cry, but not everything that people think I should cry about. For example, Titanic death scene, hilarious. Lilo and Stitch, ohana means family, cried buckets, my siblings were like you've seen this move ten times why are you crying!:gig

Oh goodness! I get my heartlessness from my mother because my dad is mushy. :gig

Thank you so much @RainForestBird !
My shipped eggs arrived today. They were packaged beautifully.

Unfortunately, USPS not only took them on a scenic route, but they also bounced them about a bit. Even though they only had to cross one state line, it took them four days to get here. They were shipped priority so I was able to "track" them online. They were in the next town over, and were sent out for delivery, only to be returned to the distribution center last night!
I was sent 6 serama and 8 Japanese bantam buff black tail eggs. Two of the JBT were cracked so I'm down to 6 of each. They were both fertilized. Of the remaining dozen, 5 have detached air cells.

Because of the delay and the warm weather both here in Texas and in Arizona, I decided to forgo letting them sit out and put them, fat side up in the incubator. I won't turn them until around day 7 because of detached air cells.
Here are some pictures of how well they were packaged.

And one of the broken ones, showing fertilization.

OK, jumping in a little late here but I wanted to share a little of my recent 'shipped' eggs experience.
Received 12 in a badly smushed box, none broken but on candling was able to make the air cell rotate completely to the small end of the egg on 5 of these babies. The others were badly saddled. Anyway, I incubated all of them and then on day 7 I candled those slippery 5 eggs, saw no growth and cracked them open. All of them were totally scrambled, I mean TOTALLY. The yolk, albumen and the membrane were all mixed up together! The remaining 7 were growing just fine even though the air cells were so badly saddled. I was incubating them upright, not on their sides (I have both kinds of turners), and then come lock down, I moved them into cartons and kept them upright. 1 egg quit, probably around day 14, 1 died in shell during hatch :barnie, but the other 5 all hatched beautifully. The short end of this post is to say that I recommend incubating potentially rattled eggs upright. Just my two cents! Good luck with your hatch. :fl

That's how I have them right now. I might have to rig something up when I switch to the Brinsea on Tuesday, depending on what I see when I candle. Thank you for posting your experience.
