:fl I hope both of them hatch for you! Have you switched them over to the new incubator?
Yes I switched them to the Brinsea mini this Sunday morning. I'm glad it came in the mail early because I saw a spike in temperature on the Hova-Bator. It was only 2 degrees but it freaked me out. No spikes now.

Glad you were able to switch them over! Which Hovavator model were you using?

It's okay, I'm not that broken hearted about it. Frankly, I'm super happy that any are viable at all! The USPS delayed it for over 24 hrs less than 30 miles from my house, in the Texas heat. They are also the first time I've ever tried hatching anything.

I had a lot of trouble getting the temp stable in the 1602 too. I ran that silly thing for 5 days and couldn't get the temp right. Luckily I was just going to test on some of our eggs, so we just had omlettes instead...:lau I gave up on that bator and ended up getting a 1588. Once I got it to the right temp with my calibrated instruments I didn't have any issues with it maintaining.

I know what you mean! I couldn't go ten feet without rushing back to check the temp. I was on pins and needles the whole time I was at work!
