First Hatching

well i think helping was a good move

you will need to give it electrolytes once it is dry, how long has it been out of its shell?

electrolytes:

Homemade Electrolyte Recipe for weak/ill chicks post #3876
gatorade
pedialyte

or vitamins like baby vitamins Poly-vi-sol without iron

To wash it you can put warm water (like 95*-100*) in a bowl and carefully rinse it,

DO NOT get water in its nose, i would keep its head completely out of the water and only do its legs/body/wings
have a dry towel ready and the bator ready to put it back into cause it will chill VERY quickly

Okay I will try cleaning it up some. And we bought some packages of electrolytes at a feed store called "sav-A-chick" products to put in its water after it drys.
Thank you so much this has been a huge help and if anything else arises I'll be sure to rush here panicked.
Thank you again!
