First incubation

I'm debating on relying these thermometers I just bought or wait on that one to get here.

If you are referring to the one posted from Incubator ware-house---they are not all accurate either. I got about 6 of them---they pretty much read different---for sure the humidity. If you had it set at 37.5(99.5) and it was reading 92 why not adjust it higher? Or you thought the 37.5 was accurate? From your hatch you were probably off by close 2 degree's. "I" would use the same as what I used last time but bump the temp up 1 1/2 degree's F(38.3c). I would then see what happen---see if your chicks hatch closer to true day 21. If you get any other thermometer you will have to use it a whole hatch to see how close it is unless you get a high dollar guaranteed accurate one. I go by my eggs hatching to determine how accurate a thermostat is or how I need to adjust.

I thought it was accurate but we only had 2 out of 41 eggs hatch. One was day 23 and the other was day 26. I just assumed it was close. I'm able to calibrate the thermometer on my incubator but I planned on setting it higher just wanted a more accurate thermometer before I did that. I'm gonna collect the eggs tomorrow and start them.

Humidity is 45%, I calibrated it a degree off. It's set at 37.5 and the thermometer says 99. It's one of the cheap Walmart ones though. I'm sure it's off, I ordered the one that was posted on here and I ordered the Vicks hygrometer. They will be here tomorrow, I'm sure I'm still off a lot.
Whats the temperature set on? Reading? Moisture?

Lost power on day 16 for 4 hours. Temps went down to 72, all still have movement and are going in lockdown. One egg we candles looked different not sure what I was looking at looked almost like two chicks crammed in there.
