After a year of breed research I have hatched my first clutch of Marans
They came from an egg supplier who packed me some mixed colours. Sadly due to a temperature plummet during the hatch - from 15c to -2c in less than a day even under the hen I lost 3 after pipping but before hatched.
They two survivors are healthy and strong though
