I agree it is confusing! As we learn it gets easier though. You'll get the hang of it.

I simplified my humidity issues with a humidikit, I'm using a Styrofoam incubator and summer weather is so unpredictable. 4% humidity yesterday but we had monsoons and much higher humidity a couple weeks ago. Don't know if that might be an option for you but I love it.

At this point I’m never doing it again but I said that last time and as soon as I had my 3 beautiful chicks I was all I want to do it again. I thought I’d learnt a lot but these eggs have not been great! Am not enjoying what I have been told is a side pup so it’s doing all the work it would have done inside in view so all I see is it’s little Beak and it’s wriggling. Having to force myself not to try to help and give it plenty time.
