Well we're thinking it day 19. If were right hatching should start late Tuesday night into Wednesday and Thursday.
Little late but day 18 pics..We had lots of movement in all 6 eggs........

Scott, the first one (egg pics, your chick pics posted while i was typing) looks ok to me, but the others look like alot of clear area. By day 18, they should be more dark. I'm thinking they may be a day late, and might hatch a little sticky/gooey. Have you already increased the humidity?

Eta - I'm glad you saw movement in them all, because some look like they have quit.

Sometimes we got a almost side profile of the chick. I agree, again they look small.
Yes we incresed RH to 63% and drop temp to 99.8

I'm not sure but for 11 days these were under a hen and we have dropped into the 50 a few nights. Thought was hen maybe has eggs at less than ideal temps. Although all 12 (her six and our 6 ) we really active at 11 days and later candling.

So the hatching has began. We hatched one in the incubator yesterday between 1pm and 5 pm. The hen gizmo also hatched one around the same time. Last night we got 3 more pips and hatched another chick. Gizmo also hatched one last night and has 1 pip. So today maybe the tie breaker.lol.

Yes more show hatch today. And next week I ordered 12+ silkie eggs like the ones o hatched the 1st tome same breeder. Then 18 eggs that are some of the best sizzles and frizzles and her own cross breed silkies I have ever seen. They look like little mops and are beautiful. I can't wait to hatch those little guys.
If it cool I'll just keep this thread alive with my fall 2017 hatches?

Awsome I am still baffled with the hatching this time around. I want to nail down the 21 day hatch but it seems to be more 22 and 23 for us and the hen. My only guess is temp off in begging or the eggs don't start developing right when Sat under the hen or even right away in our 1st hatch.
The eggs coming in were pricier than I ever thought we would spend on eggs. But even with a 50% hatch we should get some stunning birds. And I'm shooting for 70% on the shipped eggs. Where we were closer to 57.142% on the silkies in the 1st hatch.
