I have 4 flower hens. They are about 9 months old. One is sick. I can’t get a picture because she wiggles too much but she has a yellowish plague like lesion in her mouth, bad smell, clear slimy fluid com I’m from mouth, she’s eating but her crop feels empty she’s drinking ALOT and she’s sleepy and separating herself front the flock.
I now have her in a crate in my basement. I cleaned the coop and water and food troughs. I also sprayed apple cider vinegar all over to hopefully disinfect. All my other chickens are fine.
I’m leaning towards canker after research.
Any ideas??
the lesion looks very similar to this except it’s on her throat on the left side.
