Had our first snow of the season today. Last few days the morning temps have been hovering around 28°-35° and day temps in the 40°'s. I have been leaving the pop door open 24-7, no light bulb or any other form of heat, the birds seem to be enjoying the cool weather. Egg production as been very good also, 6:6 the last two days!

My girls seem to love the cold too! They were a little unsure of our first snow. I don't have a covered run and keep the pop door closed at night. I went out and opened the pop door for them and had a "Chicken Pile" in the doorway. They normally all just run out but stopped REAL fast when that saw that alien white stuff on the ground. They have now decided it isn't such a big deal and have enjoyed the little snows we have had.

Nice Coop!
