Instead of papery white, (which is what you want to see) when membranes start drying out you see them turn a yellowish brown color and the membrane becomes leathery. Usually this is a signifier that the chick is becoming glued in by the membrane and fluids drying to him. How comfortable are you doing an assisted hatch?What does the brownish/yellow color mean?
Not very but at this point it seems like all I can do. I tried to help him earlier, and got a little bit of the shell, can you explain if I take him out of bator or just take bator lid off? What do I need to do?
