Finally today (day 6) there is sign of life in 2 out of my 3 pekin eggs! On day 4 I saw nothing so I was feeling down...but tonight I saw veining in 2 out of my 3! I can see how this can get addicting...so let me ask, are the first few days the most critical and I am now "over the hump" or is it the end that is tough when on "lockdown"? I am hatching for my daughter and I don't want to get her hopes up that we will have 2 ducks in a few weeks...Also, how long should I wait before I toss my clear egg? Also, is it normal that the embryo's seem to be on one side of the egg or am I not turning enough? Thanks guys!
Pics posted. My eggs aren't numbered, but I call them "c", "Q" and "D" because she wrote the circles on the eggs to mark and her circles look like each of those letters.
"D"- clear
"C"- veining and embryo
"Q"- Veining and embryo
Sorry my pics are so big! I don't know how to resize!
