First time hatchers hatch A-long!

I have been swamped with work and not able to check in but I'm loving the posts I've seen! Babies hatching, more getting closer! So exciting! I candled at day 10, just did about 6 out of my 22 and all were looking good. Now I have 8 days to go and I can't wait! Time to start setting up the brooder soon!
Ohh! Your so close to hatching! Its kinda crazy imagining them actually hatching. I mean, you know what to expect, but it still seems so exciting and extraordinary! Good luck!

I have a bit of a dilemma. So I have a dozen eggs shipping today, and they will probably be here tomorrow or Thursday. The Cochin eggs are on day 5, so will eb on day 6-7 when I set the other dozen. So the hatch will be a week apart. I need another bator, but I don't think I'm here consitenly enough at the same times to turn the eggs. I could make a bator and then buy a turner, or I get a huge incubator, but the family doesn't want to pay another $150. Any ideas?

I would put them in the one with the turner until the other go into lockdown. At that point I would move the ones going into lockdown into the incubator without the turner since they won’t need turned anyway.

That is definitely a dilemma! If you are able to build one with a turner then that might be the best option if you can't buy a second incubator. I know some who dry hatch and don't turn at all so might be something you can look into as well but since this is my first time hatching I definitely can't speak to that.
Do you think you'll be incubating often? If so, a second machine may be worth the investment. Once I get my American Bresse flock established I'll be hatching several times a year so I'm considering a second Nurture Right 360

Oh, I didn't eve think of that. Thank you! I actually actually a friend I can borrow a cheep incubator from. Why didn't I think of that, thank you!

A friend of mine and I are incubating together, she has Jubilee Orpington eggs in her bator now. Once our hens get old enough to lay, we want to do a small business one Summer, and have 2 "breeding pens" for pure breeds, and then a mixed breed pen. I feel like it will be super fun as long as well can get the word out. I hope to get a second bator for that for a gift thought, since there will be holidays before then. We wont do any real, breeding, just something small in the summer.
I will definite get a Nurtuer right 360 this time, that thing is the bomb! That was the one I wanted, but I got a different one for a gift, so not big deal.

How fun! I would totally do that too! And I just may get into rare breeds to sell, incubating is sure addicting so I'm trying to figure out how to make it more than just a hobby lol

Totally! I would do a breeding program and be a small "breeder", but isn't there paperwork involved? Plus that suds like to much work.
Do you guys think you can give me some insight on weird air cells?
