First time hatching duck eggs

THank you duckgirl.. 4th one just hatched, have it inside under the lamp... I am just going to bring them all in under the lamp and raise them myself and slowly put them with the rest... 3rd one is doing good so far.. I did put it in the box with the others and it is moving around and peeping...

Im gonna try and hatch some of my ducks eggs. I have rouen pair, and for now a khaki trio, im selling the khakis soon, but I want some eggs from them to try and hatch first.

That's great news about the third one. It's very likely that it will be fine. Don't feel bad - you have a lot on your plate right now. And you have a fourth too!!

You are doing so well to have rescued these four. I doubt they'd be alive now if it wasn't for you.

How did you go with the vitamins?

They are pekin/rouen mixed.. I did not get to go get vitamens yet, had to watch my nephew.. and have a busy day but I did give gatorade and suger water and that seems to have already helped.. All 4 are together, the oldest 2 eating and drinking... will get more pics later tonight after my sons soccer game...

The Gatorade and sugar water are good. Glad that it seems to have helped a little.

Last update till tonight... All 4 are roaming around and look GREAT.. I couldnt be happier, just looked out in the nest and have 1 poking out and 2 dtill about the same... By the time I get home tonight (around 8) I should have all 3 I would think..

Hoping #3 is doing well. Curious as to how #2 is doing as well. Is he still keeping his head to the side. Giving Poly-vi-sol without iron and brewer's yeast will help that.
