first time hatching goose eggs :o

Pics
Oof, my house caught fire today, electrical fire in the solar panels, the damages are minimal, but I had to disconnect the electricity for a few hours. They went without electricity for 30 mins, after which I moved them to a neighbor's house. While I was moving them I saw a big beak in one egg, internal pip! It was a rough day for the poor eggs, but I am fairly certain at least one will hatch, crossing my fingers!!

Oh my goodness! Are you ok?

So,I have a question, can someone tell me about safety holes? I heard you should do it if the chick internally pipped more than two days ago with no external pip yet, is that correct?
Yes but don't rush it.

Yeah, I caught it early on so it was put out quickly by the fire brigade. The bummer is I had to disconnect the electricity for a couple hours. The eggs stayed without electricity after which I moved them to a neighbor's house. While doing that I realized I could see a beak in one of the three eggs, so that might be the first one to hatch! The second had some movement but still no internal pip. The third is likely dead in the shell, it plopped down to the bottom and no more blood vessels can be seen. I really hope all the movements I had to do to them today won't compromise the hatch, crossing my fingers. We'll see how they are doing tomorrow :)

big news! we got an external pip! right at the top of one egg :) the other one is still alive and starting to have shadows in the aircell which should indicate it's almost ready to internally pip as well :) i removed the third one as it was definitely dead, opened it up and it looks like he died while internally pipping.
