welp, @Texas Kiki wanted me to make this thread :D so here it is!

i had set 6 toulose goose eggs in the incubator, we are at day 18 today. I candled them at day 9 and at day 15, removed 2 infertile eggs and currently monitoring another that i believe might have died around day 10. the other 3 look super lively! they move around a lot ahah, this is my first time hatching goose eggs and i'm super excited. i am following my bator's instruction so since day 10 ive been letting them cool 20 minutes a day and then misting them before closing the lid again. the eggs are due to hatch the 9th of may :), in this thread i'll probably post updates and ask questions as they come to my mind :D

update time! removed the egg i was monitoring, it's definitely dead, the other ones are alive and moving! they were shipped eggs, and all three have a saddle airsac, but it looks normal otherwise, so i'm just crossing my fingers lol, meanwhile, my adult goose went broody this week, it's her first time , rip me, she will never let me take the hens' eggs from under there ahaha

Awesome...so your broody is going to hatch some eggs too?

I don't think so unfortunately, I don't have fertile eggs for her, and getting them shipped would cost a fortune :(, plus she's known for making a mess with the eggs lol (crushes some chicken eggs sometimes when she lays hers), so I'll just wait it out, I am building a new separate home from the chickens anyway where I'll keep only ducks and geese :) as soon as the eggs in the bator hatch I will set some Indian runner ducks that will eventually live with the geese that hatch and my adult one :D

I’m on day 15. Started out with a dozen, pulled one infertile one and one blood ring since then.
Oh, and they’re Pilgrim :)
 good luck! I was gonna start with 8 eggs but they were bigger than normal geese eggs and they didn't fit in the bator ahahah, had to leave 2 out, if everything goes according to plan 3 should hatch out :) let us know how your incubation goes!

*Edit: removed random "you lose" lol
