First time incubating: how do they look so far?

Good luck newbie!
I have 38 that just went into lockdown.
There's one that didn't lose much, the air cell is still really small. It was washed accidently by my mom. I wasn't going to set it at all..but have heard others say they've hatched washed eggs before. They're due to hatch Saturday, they seem to me like they're ahead of that schedule, but maybe I'm just wishful thinking. The ones at the top are the eggs I purchased (hoping for colorful cochins) the ones on each side are d'uccles crossed with cochins (I'm going to sell those for sure) and the ones at the bottom are from my cochins. Hope I have a good hatch. 1st time using the new incubator! If it does well another one just like it will be on my wishlist. I have to give the LG back to my cousin at some point :)

Thanks Ruby, yea just waiting for the kids to go to school then back to bed for awhile. Its pretty cool though I have my husbands gopro camera set on top of the bator and occasionally I can hear them tapping, I have a gopro app so I can see everything right from my phone.

I whistled and they chirped at me!!! Two as far as I can tell.

I did that too. A really high pitched whistle. That's cool. There are also some YT videos of baby chicks chirping. They sometimes will respond to that too, if you play it on your phone and hold it over the bator. Once they pip, mine also responded when I would wave a flashlight over the hole. Talk to them. Tell them to get a move on!

Pipe Dreaming, your set up looks good. Best of luck for your lockdown!!
