I'm going to join!! I have my 3rd and 4 the batch of chicks hatching in the next 2 days!! I just got done with 1 batch 2 days ago and had 8 hatch. I set 12 eggs cleared 3 blood rings and 1 clear and 1 never hatched so u did pretty good. But I am done with staggered hatches it is to hard to keep track. Good luck to those of u who r hatching!!

I'm glad these guys hatched when they did. I get 2 whole days to stare at them before going to work again Monday

Absolutely thrilled with the variety of colors I got from the cochin eggs I purchased from a BYC member. I ended up determining one was getting shrink wrapped..it was so stuck. I was able to help it hatch and now I'm in the process of giving it little sponge baths to get all the membrane off it. I believe it's going to make it. Just taking my time with it and letting it rest in the bator. I've got about 4 eggs that look like they may not pip at all. Still early to tell for sure. The others are doing great! Just the one needed help.
