First time incubating: how do they look so far?

I have a couple pipped below the air cells, not sure how that's going to work out. I have 7 chicks hatched and at least 15 more pipped. I'm leaving for work soon (it's probably for the best) hope to have some cochins hatched when I get back. So far just the mixed breed ones are hatched.

That probably isn't below the air cell. Once you lay them down, and once they get to this point, the air cell has receded more and actually moves a little to allow more on top. So it looks fine!

3 left in bator, not a single pip on any so ill just keep an eye on them today then candle tonight maybe and see if they even internal pipped. My daughter said she wants to squeeze the chicks ro death so I told her she gets to help with eggtopsys on monday. Now for the fluff.

Said to hell with it and candled, looks like only one internal pipped others dont look like they made it past day 18. Oh well its a learning experience, im lucky to have gotten three my first go. Calibrating hygrometers/thermometers. Going to try to calibrate incubators too that thing I know is highly off. Lol I will be the master of hatching in this lg.

Good attitude! We learn as we go, and sometimes it is sad lessons. Congrats on your adorable babies!

Im going to move the bator to the only room in the house that does not have a heater vent, going to spend the next week setting up and taking my time. Watching temperatures, room gets cold at night but its cold at night in a coop too. So I will probably set again next friday. Calibrating my hygros now. Opened last three and they looked shrink wrapped must not of had enough humidity
