First time incubating: how do they look so far?

Its starting to shrivel now and hes moving around, I put him in a container and he just knocked it over. It doesnt seem to be bothering him much. There are small shell pieces stuck to it from him flopping around should I worry?

This is my 3rd pip, my first one was so clean I guess there are difficult ones in every clutch.

I think you said it was small... I had one like that. It takes a couple days to heal up, but should be fine. If you can easily get the shell pieces off, I think it would be better if they don't dry on there. Is he still in the bator and what else is going on in there? I try to weigh my actions depending on what else gets affected. If you have others hatching, then I wouldn't worry so much about a piece of shell. But if nothing else is going on, then I would probably act.

Oh you have a new pip... I think I'd just wait.

Ill wait for the 3rd to finish and if I dont have any new pips I will pull first and second out and put them in the brooder

Its a greyish color and there isnt any blood, wondering if I should tie it off with some thread. Its kind of long and thin. Cant get any good pics of it.

I know its sometimes hard to just watch and do nothing, but they are amazing little creatures. They knew how to get out of that egg didn't they? Miraculous. How many eggs do you have total?
