Mar 10, 2014 #34 JanetS Songster Jun 22, 2012 1,099 67 206 Before expansion - 3' wide x 6' deep. North wall is 4' high. South wall is 5' high because of slanted roof. After expansion - 6' wide x 6' deep. North and South wall stayed the same. Our chickens LOVE the extra room. Their new roost is 6 ft long. We still have some painting to do yet. We like using sand in the coop a lot better than wood shaving. It's a lot easier to clean.
