First timer with lots of questions

The sounds from the first chick does usually encourage the others, if I'm not mistaken. I'm seriously impressed with how fast they're popping out! Congratulations again and again!!!

Congratulations I love hatching I have 250 quail eggs in for a friend its so exciting good luck with the rest I hope they all hatch keep us updated

3rd baby seems to have a bit of yolk left on it's abdomen. About the size of the tip of your little finger. Doesn't seem to be poorly in any way. Worry?

No not at all it will absorb it

They are currently drinking and eating slime out of the eggshells. I guess I shouldn't worry about this.

And baby #4 is making a decision I think.

No that's nothing to worry about I wait till they are totally dry before I take them out and put them in the brooder even though they are playing soccer in there they are fine

Baby #4 is on it's way. I put two in the brooder so they'd have company. They are trilling under the heating plate. The rest I'll probably leave in the incubator overnight.

Baby #3 is walking upright already and is very curious about and fixated on me. Calling it now - roo

Egg #5 is thinking about it, and egg #6 has pipped internally. And that's all the eggs I have!

Edit: Baby 4 is out and it's a carbon copy of baby 3!

I had hoped the shoelace would reduce the impact of egg soccer. I hoped incorrectly
