First try at incubating

Here are a couple of polish x. What do you think? There are 2 silkie roos, one white, the other black, and an EE roo in with the buff pish hens.

Hatched yesterday

Hatched today

Srry...I'll get on pc n fix post when I get home.

Set some more polish, silkie, showgirl and cochin eggs last night. I was 6 out of 16, I think, last time. Hoping for a slightly better hatch rate this time. Since everything hatched late last time I'm going to try a higher temp this time and see how that works.

Not to hot!!! P.S. I just had success with a momma hen hatching 2 for me with 4 more coming. I never had to worry about anything beyond other hens getting in and laying more eggs...

I just went from 99 to 100 for incubation. Hopefully they won't get too hot. Luckily my RH is 40 so the bator stays atcorrect humidity and i only need a water tray during lockdown.

Ha! Nice video...now my daughter is running around mocking your chicken talk haha.
