I have always loved the, ever since I was a little girl.


They don't sting BTU their little hairs can irritate some people's skin, which can feel a bit itchy it prickly.

I guess if you have sensitive skin, it can irritate. Although it has never bothered me or my kids.



That is so coo! I had no idea there were Wooly Bear races!

They are Woolie bears. The moths are called Tiger Moths. And they are dull/pastel pink and yellow.
I have seen a few, very pretty.

I love woolie bears.
I saw another today but the poor thing got trampled

There is actually another caterpillar that looks like a woolie bear. So don't be fooled.
This other kind can grow over 6 inches long. Their "fur" is more prickley like a cactus. Black and the skin is dark red.
