Does anyone have experience with Puffers? I'm contemplating a Figure-eight puffer in a brackish tank, and I'm wondering what they need as far as room to swim. Most websites I've looked at say that these itty-bitty inch and a half fish need massive tanks.

I am so happy today with what I picked up at the store! I found Lyre-tailed Guppies with vibrant neon coloration, a beautiful Severum, a speckled high-fin Pleco, and a really cool-looking plant. The Severum is really going add some color to the tank he's supposed to be in!

I HAVE THE KING OF THE AQAURIUM : DISCUS . I HAVE A SCHOOL OF EIGHT DISCUS WITH TWO FAROWELLAS (TWIG CATFISH) IN A 100 G. OF THAT GROUP I HAVE TWO BREEDING PAIRS.

do NOT get mandarins, they eat pods, and you need a VERY well established tank or they will not make it. I have a pair but
Ive had them a long long time and my tank is old, Ive stocked my tank with pods over the years and got them established
long before I got the fish. If you buy pods, say one jar of 1000 pods for $18.00 wouldnt feed one mandy for a few days.
every time you buy one and it dies, and re buy it encourages someone to continue taking them from the wild
it just doesnt work.

I encourage people to get captive bred and raised livestock to protect the reefs whenever possible. I really love the

I have a 20g long with 1 keyhole cichlid, 1 blue ram, a pair of bristlenose plecos, 3 red eye tetras and an apple snail. I'm going to get a few more red eyed tetras so they have a nice school to feel safe in and eventually I hope to try and find a male that might pair with my ram, although then I'll need to move my keyhole because Ms. ram has taken a liking to him. I also have a pond in the back yard with mosquito fish. Those guys are in there to keep it clear of mosquito larvae and keep it cycled until I can get some axolotls.

Aaand eventually I'm going to set up a salt water tank for an octopus.

I love fish. Before I moved I was a long term volunteer at my local aquarium and I had 3 tanks. Someday when we have a house hopefully we will have an extra room that I can turn into a fish/herp room.

Fish enthusiast and rescuer over here! My population changes as I do adopt out many fish, but my current and probably permenant group is as follows:

- 4 common goldfish
- 2 koi
- 6 fancy goldfish
- 4 dojo loach
- 12 Betta (splendens)
- 5 Betta (macrostoma)
- 1 rubberlip pleco
- 1 bristlenose pleco
- 1 raphael catfish
- 1 thorny catfish
- 1 chinese algae eater
- 1 jack dempsey
- 1 dinosaur bichir
- 1 wolf fish (tiger characin)
- 2 mosquito fish (hoping for more asap)

I have recently adopted out a jeweled cichlid, african cichlid, and a couple of bettas. I work at a fish store, so any fish that come in wirh major injuries/defects, as well as any extremely ill fish, are written off by my manager. I take them home, patch them up, and either find good homes for them or keep them as pets. I also used to do a fair ammount of adoption, foster, and placement via the internet with bettas, but I've quieted that down recently because it is hard to maintain so many individual aquariums. I currently have about 25 tanks up and running, ranging from 3g to 110g tanks (also working on setting up ponds for the commons/koi, who are currently still in their overwinter enclosures).

I really want a Saltwater Tank!

But right now I only have a Female CrownTail Betta and a Male Crowntail Betta (In separate tanks)
