I've got a really small one, 5 gallons I think.

Captain America again. He was swimming past a corner, there's not actually a headless fish behind him

His white tail is blue in all of these pictures for some reason.

I've got a 130 gal set up in my basement, but it just houses my 24" koi and a cat fish for the winter... it's nothing fancy at all.

Quote:
My rusty cichlids (Iodotropheus sperengae) breed all the time in my 90 gallon. I started with a trio about ten years ago or so, and at any given time, I have 5-6 adults, some juveniles and a bunch of fry in the tank. They have cross bred with my yellow lab as well. And the yellow lab has cross bred with the Lab. perlmutt, as well.

I have aquaria, but we are getting ready to move so everything is taken down. I have a pair of golden gouramis, one koi angelfish, a male kribensis (my female died. I will get another once we are settled as it is fun to breed them).... a handful of harlequin rasboras, some guppies and two male siamese fighting fish (in smaller enclosures to keep them from fighting and/or getting nipped by the other fish). Right now they are in a large rubbermaid container (and quite happy I think) with proper filtration and heat. I am fixing up a cooler (complete with heater and air) that they will be in for the move. I will run it off of the car battery (through the lighter outlet) to keep them warm and aerated for the move. I have two 18 gallon tanks, and a bunch of 10 gallon tanks that I spread things out into, along with smaller tanks. I would love to have a big community tank, but right now it is beyond my financial ability to purchase. (I do keep my eye out on kijiji for folks who are getting rid of stuff they don't want... but now is just not a good time to acquire more stuff in anticipation of a move.

So here are a few older pics of my tanks. Keep in mind these are a few years old. The 55 is an overgrown jungle right now, and really needs some serious work done on it. And the 90 needs a good algae scrape and cleaning. The saltwater is relatively new and I'm still working on stabilizing it.

The 55 gallon planted community tank:

A view of most of the front of the 90 gallon African cichlid tank: (All those rocks came from our backyard. They don't call NH the Granite State for nothing!)

Two of the cichlids- the blue one is an Aulonocaurus sp. (not sure of the specific variety), and the yellow is a Labridochromis caerulus. At the top of the picture is a Pseudotropheus acei "yellowtail":

And the front of the saltwater tank, 29 gallons, Fish Only With Live Rock (also known as a FOWLR tank):

The pond a couple years ago:

And more as it looks now (minus the lighted deer statue- that died last year) The liner also leaks so the goldies are in the basement in a tank for the winter. In Spring we will have to tear it apart and replace the liner. Not necessarily looking forward to that!:

We have been fairly preoccupied with the tanks in our home, as well as other hobbies and busy work days....so much so that between health issues, hobbies, work, and other pressures, I have missed being on the BYC site for months and months....and coming back is bittersweet! I figure I'll make an appearance in this thread at least! You all have awesome tanks, by the way!

We have 40g long and 75g Saltwater Reef tanks with a common sump/filtration system. A 55g Reef tank, a 46g Freshwater planted Bowfront, a 6g CPR planted tank, a 2.5g planted guppy tank, an 8g planted biocube, a 14g biocube reef tank, and empty 14g biocube and 16g bowfront tanks. We just started a small Vivarium with 2 poison Dart Frogs, and are setting up a new larger 18x18x24 vivarium.

Here a pics of a couple of them:

This is Nessy. He is a 19" to 20" Fire eel. I truly adore my little guy. He lives in a 75 gallon fresh water tank.
