Some can live longer. I have a few goldfish that are at least 16 years, as well as a yoyo loach. Many fish can live long lives, especially the cold blooded ones like goldfish and koi.

I have 4 tanks currently. A 125 and a 75 with goldfish, both fancy and single tailed, and a 55, and a 29 with tropical fish. I like Angel fish, and gourami, as well as tetra.

wow that is old!!!

And that’s awesome!! Those seem like cool fish. I wanna get some platies and/or mollies or guppies. I really like the platies

Off to get the tank today. Didn’t yesterday. Went there but then spent a few hours just walking around looking at all the different animals/being on my phone.

Two more! I wanted to get like 5 more since it’d only be a dollar (20 cents each) but I thought about what they’d be full size and how 9 might get a bit crowded in the tank and how they also may breed on their own in the pond next year or in a couple years and controlled myself LOL

I also wanted one of the ones with a lot of white on it but these two swam into the net right away and I didn’t wanna be a pain lol LOL so one doesn’t have a ton of white but is pretty and the other run is a little kinda runty light gold color.

Every time we add bettas to our 125 gallon planted community tank they just disappear after a few weeks. Don’t know why they can’t thrive there like everybody else. We only try 1 or 2 at a time and it’s a peaceful tank.
