My tanks are in my basement. It's like a field trip to go see them. Definitely need timers.

Why would you put them where you cant see them? No room? I have 3 in this room where the tv is. Shoot, I even got one in y bathroom. LOL

I used to have a 20 gallon in my living room, and a few upstairs, but I couldn't do the water changes with the buckets anymore.

In my basement I can do my water changes easily, and not worry about spilt water. I also have big tanks that weigh a lot. I originally started with my pond goldfish, and just stayed down there. It's nice in the summer, all dark and cool. I used to call it my fortress of solitude down there with my tanks, and I used to have a tv down there.

Sounds nice . My DH used to be a basement dweller too and built me a pond down there but we dont have a basement now.

I'm always surprised to see how many people don't have basements. Everyone has one in Wisconsin unless you live in a mobile home, so I thought everyone had one.

Im in a mobile. modular whatever it is. It dont have wheels and is set on a brick foundation .

Those are pretty nice houses. Here they do a lot of 2 part houses where they put them together on site.

mine is 3 parts. 2000 SF ranch . open floor plan. Shoot I even have a fireplace. and in 20 yrs it will be all mine !

I'm exhausted chasing the pupper around, and playing doggie referee. I'm using the primitive part of my brain tonight.

Mine are in my room but I feel like I wouldn’t be consistent about turning them on and off at the same time every day and the poor fish would be all wacked out.
