Endlers would work in that. I think it's too small for the others you mentioned. You could upgrade to a 20 gallon on Craig's list for cheap and really expand your options without having a huge tank. Otherwise research "nano" tanks for ideas. Shrimp do well in those setups.

Yup, but unfortunately I don't live in the US, so no Craigslist or anything if that nature. And to be honest I'm not looking to upgrade for now. The nano stocking ideas are coming up with basically what I mentioned here, some are also suggesting white cloud mountain minnows, chili rasbora, and Daniel erythromicron, but don't know if their behaviour is that interesting

Danio erythromicron*

In a 6 gallon, you don't have a lot of options. I might suggest a planted cherry shrimp tank, could be fun. You can fit a whole bunch in there, up to 40 - 60.

I say in a 6 gallon maybe a shrimp tank or possibly if you have them in your area a pea puffer I find those cool

We do! I love them. But in a six gallon I can only fit in one. Per the puffer expert (Cory from Aquarium Co op). And I want to get away from the one fish deal. Tough customer... I know
