I took my dad for father's day a few years ago. He passed on recently. Before that, we hadn't been fishing since I was a kid in the 70s. It has been a long journey, many years with my loved ones & myself fighting cancer. Whatever is going on though, if a person is able, just realize that yesterday's gone & tomorrow is no guarantee, so Right Now it's a good time to appreciate life, love & enjoy the simple times & share them, because they're the best!
Do it while you can!

Yeah, they were really biting. Unfortunately the catfish on the bottom actually knocked a few blue gills off.

Get a couple baskets….1 for cats and the other for panfish

I love going fishing! Well, when it's not to hot. I have a pond that we stocked in 2020 so they're pretty big now! We have Bluegill,sunfish, bass, and catfish!

I went early this morning and got a limit of specs on the fly rod. The full moon had them stacked up on the dock lights feeding on glass minnows. I used some glass minnow flies I tied and they worked well. Gigged a couple flatties on the way out. Fishing the night lights is a great way to beat the summer heat.....
