Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Those beards are great - who would have ever thought a beard would look so good on a female lol.
Lovely looking dogs, how are they with your birds?
Never seen a fluffy duck before, what breed is he? He's so cute.
Saw your duck pools in the background, I have very similar type pools, I have to scoop out the water with a bucket when I empty mine - such an annoyance. We don't really get any decent pools for ducks over here which is a shame as I'd really like one with a water outlet on it, my ducks like them though so I guess that's all that matters really :)

Thank you! Gimpy is adorable as always :love All of the dogs are fine with the birds, most help protect the flock at night. I let them out to go check things out before bed, then they come back in for bed.

I think a picture is worth a thousand words. That's tuney behind the ducks.

This is my girl Karma. She's been blind since birth and was given to us by a family member who somehow didn't realize she was blind.

All I have is muscovy ducks. I love the look and behavior of a muscovy! She just has some amazing cheek bones! With adult muscovies you can generally tell sex by size, that girl is the biggest female, but the males make her look tiny!

I have around 10 of the same blue plastic kiddie pools. Muscovies aren't as water loving as mallard derived breeds, but do like a dip in the pool!

They are when they are kept by responsible owners. There have been cases over here of Staffy's attacking people, the last case I know of was November 2018 one of the families two Staffy's attacked their 9 month old baby, who died of his injuries, both dogs have been destroyed. It's still with the courts but looks like the parents may be done for child neglect, given that all dogs should be closely watched around kids.

:thumbsup i LOVE the bully breeds too:love all i had were pitts until i married my husband and the only reason i dont have one now is because its againt the renters insurance. Stuck here while we rebuild our actual home after the flood and gotta abide by the rules.

*edited to say- what you said at the beggining applies to All breeds large and small, our little mutts would be just as quick to snap at our toddlers as any breed, i wouldnt ever trust a single breed around my children unsupervised. My dogs go outside upon the house waking up until it goes to sleep. Over the last 50 yrs there have been a few different breeds singled out for this nonsense rumors included these are just the yrs the ignorant can get away with full on Bans. One i remember vividly was the doberman pincher's brain grows too small for its head and they go cfazy with the pain.

Aw Krystal:hugs I’m really sorry about that. You just keep on keeping on with Jordan. He makes you happy, and that’s all that matters. :hugs

Xs2!

Well said. Some parents want to remain in control, I even know of parents who are jealous of their kids and how well they are doing.
Might be a good idea if you report the threats to the police?

Also xs2. Im not sure how your parents are, you would know better than anyone how much they mean those threats but dont get hurt!

Your birds are lovely, gorgeous colours - I've never seen chickens with black combs/wattles before, they're awesome!

Thank you! The green really only shows in the sun those chickens are black from head to toe! Ill dig up a link and be back in a flash so you can have some interesting reading on them.

Good morning all!
