The world is different depending on where you live. Here I can eliminate problems with a rifle. Other places not so much. Hoping you're successful at trapping it.

Good idea. I will be buying a trap to when I meet my goal of 20 Chickens. And ill get an incubator too.
Has anyone else noticed their chickens being particularly excited today? My flock has been running around and flapping about, even Gimpy!

Depends where we live. If we can use a rifle or not. My partner and I both have licences and rifles.

I have a friend that has caught foxes with snares and then shot them, I’d be worried about a cat or a dog getting itself caught in one and injuring itself though...

We dont have pets other then our chickens so hopefully we should be ok to trap them.
I have a a 39Kg deterant for foxes and such. If they don't leave he kills them. I'm still new to this whole livestock guardian dog thing and learning as I go. But I haven't lost a bird to a predator since he's been here. He's also very adamant that the turkeys and ducks must be inside their fence or a fence... He herded two of my turkeys into my pig pen not long ago. I'd love to train him not to kill skunks. But have no idea how.
She doesn't have a name. Quite a few of my pullets are getting really red for only being just over four months old.
