Kayla, I give mine kiddie pools and they do tend to lay where ever they are when they feel the urge. I lock mine up until 9o am in hopes of getting eggs in the house rather than randomly out in pasture.

I ended up moving the cemani into a pen with a black hen. Unfortunately, still waiting for more hatching eggs.
