Flock/Life Journey's 2019

I'm sorry you lost a beloved pet. :hugs I hate when people don't care enough to control their dogs. That's why pit bulls have such a bad reputation, bad owners!

This loss has remained me of something you can do to remember your pets.

A few years ago we had to put down angel, a German Shepherd with horrible hip problems that led to having to put her down. Our vet has the option of getting a ornament with your dogs paw on it.

This is what we got.

Months later I found an article on how to do something similar at home. Every pet has a print up on the wall. I need to make a batch and do my flock!

The white and blue one is Hemi's paw, he's a Polydactyl cat, so he has a few extra toes.

Here's the article if anyone else wants to make some. You'll have to go pretty far down to get past the majority of the promotional stuff.

Those look awesome!

We put an offer on a house when we first started looking but a Chinese family out bidded us. But now I look back compared to the house we now have. That first house we offered on was shit and was only on 3 acres. We now have 10 with a little house but its done up and we have room to extend in the future.

We were told we can be a back up but I was like no thank you. We will keep looking.

The house we are in now. Wasn't even the area we wanted to live but now we love it. We were out this way having breakfast at some cafe and I said to Jordan we should look at that real estate its just there so we did and found this house. We went and seen it. Put an offer in on the spot. They then had an open house which Jordan and I sat up the road and stalked the open house lol. One car was so nice we thought they would buy it for sure so we looked at other houses that day. Then the real estate called and said they wanted more money I said im sorry we are a young couple and thats the top of our price range and then the owner took the offer but wanted 6 weeks settlement which was fine with us. We were living at Jordan's mums so we didn't have to hurry to get out or anything.

Things happen for a reason honey. Don't be disheartened. :hugs
Lol I would LOVE 3 acres! 2 even. But DH wants to stay in the city...might not get my 2 acres til my son/s are grown and can help me take care of it (if they want to). You guys are sooo lucky to have 10! We will be seeing more places this weekend. :hugs

Beautiful chicken! Wow southern food- reminds me of my family reunions in Mississippi. I didn't know they were called mud bugs though I always thought Crayfish or Crawfish or Crawdaddies.

Last Nights Dinner:
Forget to post it. Bacon, eggs, sausages and chips :drool Simple but yummy! And got to use eggs so even happier.

:celebrate That’s good! At least it wasn’t a total loss. :hugs :woot
Hey gurl!! How are your new flock members adjusting??
I love ducks.. they are so sweet!
Where we used to live was a giant pond and we would catch little baby ducks to raise and release.. Muscovy’s mostly... you would see mama ducks with 12 babies.. then the next day 8.. then the next 3.. then none. So we would entice them near with treats... grab a few and run! So at least some would have a chance at life..
I may have told this story.. don’t remember.. but here are pics of some of them.. I couldn’t find the pics when they were bigger.. we would release them back in the pond near our house but that wasn’t easy as they knew where “home” was! It would take forever to get them to stay at the pond and not on our front porch:he
I’ll keep looking for the other pics...
