Hey gurl!! How are your new flock members adjusting??
I love ducks.. they are so sweet!
Where we used to live was a giant pond and we would catch little baby ducks to raise and release.. Muscovy’s mostly... you would see mama ducks with 12 babies.. then the next day 8.. then the next 3.. then none. So we would entice them near with treats... grab a few and run! So at least some would have a chance at life..
I may have told this story.. don’t remember.. but here are pics of some of them.. I couldn’t find the pics when they were bigger.. we would release them back in the pond near our house but that wasn’t easy as they knew where “home” was! It would take forever to get them to stay at the pond and not on our front porch:he
I’ll keep looking for the other pics...
Beautiful ducklings! :love They’re adjusting just fine. :) Although it’s pouring down rain AGAIN! :tongue

Yes.. uuuuggggh! The rain:barnie.... it’s been raining for days and plans to rain for like the next 7 days.. possibly more:th.... my yard is a swamp! Good thing we weren’t quite ready to start building on the coop/run/yard just yet cuz we wouldn’t even be able to! Literally everything is under water:he.... my gals are pretty dry though.. they are covered so that def helps!

I am getting a ton of rain at the moment and got a lot of ice and some snow last night :barnie I can’t get any outside painting done because it’s either raining or snowing at the moment.

They are soooo cute! We have a dam where the wild ducks live but 1 was dead on the road this morning when I was leaving. I was annoyed as our street isnt busy at all! So I suspect someone hit it on purpose! We are in a dead end street so only locals come in the street or people visiting the locals.
